Welcome to Angel Inn, a great pub in Highgate Village, N6. Perched on top of the hill, the Angel really stands out from the crowd of pubs and restaurants in leafy Highgate. To get here you can walk from Highgate tube station or hop on one of many buses from Archway tube station.
We enjoy a little eccentricity and you will find our pretty little pub packed full of interesting features - such as our tank of angel fish behind the bar, roaring open fires, original 1930’s wood panelling, comfy sofas and local artist’s exhibitions. We welcome everyone, so feel free to bring your baby, your grandma and your pooch!
You won’t be short of choice at the bar, whatever you’re tipple. We have a huge range of beer, including Camra-standard real ales. There's also a great choice of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
If you love food as we do, we’re sure you’ll enjoy our great NEW menu. Seasonally adjusted to ensure fresher, tastier food!
Highlights have to be handmade burgers, Sunday roasts and £6 full English breakfasts served on the week-ends.
Throughout the week, we are very popular with the locals and on a the weekend, the Angel is the centre of Highgate nightlife - come and see for yourself! You can come to eat, drink, socialise, play our board games, relax with a paper or play the weekly quiz. We also offer live music once a month - giving local musicians the chance to show case their talent - we will see the return of this in the summer months so stay tuned.

Wednesdays. We like to feel clever and give ouselves a brain work-out with the popular weekly quiz. Hosted by Adam. £1 per person to participate. No limit on team size. Failing any academic achievement, wildly shout “Higher!” or “Lower!” at ‘Play your cards right’ afterwards!
Tuesday Night Wine Club

All bottles of wines are discounted to £7.95 or £11.95 at the Angel wine club. The idea is for you to try some of the more exdpensive wines that you may not normally drink. There are great wines from a selection of countries so bucke up and get globetrotting!

In Highgate we enjoy the calm, leafy surround that is our neighbourhood. With Waterlow park on our doorstep, Highgate woods and Hampstead Heath www.hampsteadheath.net down the road we have good park life.
Highgate is swimming in history, when in the village you may want to make the pilgrimage down to Highgate cemetery, London's most beautiful burial ground, where Karl Marx is famously buried www.highgate-cemetry.org or walk around the grounds of Kenwood house, which holds outdoor music concerts in the summer, great for picnics www.english-heritage.org.uk/kenwoodhouse For those of you who fancy yourselves as Da Vinci de-coders, if you visit St.Michaels church and peer behind the right hand door at the entrance you will discover an ancient line etched into the wall that is said to represent the same height as the tip of the cross on the top of St.Pauls cathedral - hands on history!
If art is your thing (other than the walls in the Angel) there are often exhibitions in nearby Lauderdale house Lauderdale House www.lauderdalehouse.co.uk and sometimes in the Highgate Society www.highgatesociety.com or Literacy and Science Institution www.hlsi.net
The Highgate summer festival, reminiscent of a quaint village fete, complete with stalls selling potted plants and homemade cakes is a twee day out and right outside our pub in Pond square.
